Fashion with Passion

April 15, 2024

The AGWA Rooftop transformed into a runway extravaganza on the weekend, with a sold-out fashion event featuring the best of WA’s emerging talent.

Graduate designers from North Metro Tafe, South Metro Tafe, Curtin University and ECU, stunned the crowd with their incredible designs.

Design Store curators Leith Groves and Rob Marshall pulled together the four different design schools and their creations.

“WA has an abundant wealth of untapped talent that needs to be grown and nurtured and it needs to be seen. AGWA is proud to be a part of supporting a thriving artistic community,” said Leith.

A big hit on the fashion runway were Bubu Bags by Grace Scharf Design. New instore, the BuBu Bag features a 3D printed design using PLA plastic, a sustainable and eco-friendly material made from natural sources such as corn and sugar cane. BuBu also creates some uber cool mirrored earrings using 3D printing technology.

We invite you to shop the runway looks below.
