TIME • RONE delves into the grand, haunting, and deeply emotional installations of renowned artist Rone, who has transformed the historic Centenary Galleries at AGWA with his evocative vision.
Originally showcased at Flinders Street Station, Melbourne, TIME has captivated audiences with its immersive narrative and historical reflections. For the first time in nearly 20 years, AGWA reveals the entirety of its Centenary Galleries, featuring 12 rooms filled with Rone's artistic expressions and new elements inspired by Western Australia's past.
This ambitious project took three years and a team of 120 professionals to bring to fruition, including set builders, musicians, and lighting designers. Offering a visually rich insight into Rone's process, the program showcases the collaborative effort behind the exhibition and how it was retrofitted to suit the heritage-listed Centenary Galleries.
Complete with behind-the-scenes imagery, an exclusive Perth backstage room feature and words from the artist, it is the perfect take-home memento from the TIME immersive experience.
