Variously ad-hoc, D-I-Y and low-tech, Burns's works have largely remained outside of the mainstream, until now.

Featuring essays by exhibition curator Aimee Dodds and academic Dr Edward Colless, Tim Burns. Time Smoking: A Picture offers new perspectives on Burns’s provocative, socially engaged and often explosive oeuvre.

Designed by Castledine & Castledine, this publication is an essential companion to the exhibition Tim Burns - The Kinetic Moment and a valuable contribution to the documentation of one of Western Australia’s most distinctive artistic voices.

Details:

Authors: Aimee Dodds and Edward Colless

Design: Castledine & Castledine

Published by AGWA, 2026

Printer: Artproof, North Fremantle

210 pages

ISBN: 9781922868121

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0407/3114/8453/files/Tim-Burns-Time-Smoking-A-Pictue-Cover.jpg?v=1791798195
