Lisa Larson's birds first appeared in her studio in 1967 but remained mostly unnoticed among the iconic Swedish ceramicist's many creations. Recently brought back to life by Design House Stockholm, these colourful birds were born during the late 1960s, a time influenced by the rise of hippie culture and the Flower Power movement. This era of individualism and vibrant self-expression, marked by lively music and social change, inspired Larson’s playful and vividly coloured bird designs.
