Expression of Interest – Consignment

The selection of works deemed suitable for The Art Gallery of Western Australia – Design Store is based on the following criteria:-

1. AGWA Design Store remains committed to exhibiting and selling the best in Australian art and design.
2. AGWA Design Store endeavours to stock quality products that demonstrate skill in design, form, function and production.
3. AGWA Design Store aims to emphasize the work of local artists, with products reflecting Australia’s natural environment and flora biodiversity.
4. Work will be considered based on sales potential and the consistency and availability of supply.
5. Work will be considered based on its potential to fit within the current mix of stock, with regard to creating diversity within the product mix on display.
6. Selection may be influenced by the Supplier’s trading terms.
7. AGWA Design Store reserves the right to negotiate with individual suppliers.
8. Work will be displayed subject to space considerations, size limitations and cabinet mix.
9. All work supplied must be the guaranteed original work of the maker/designer.
10. All work must be designed and preferably made in Australia.

PLEASE NOTE: If you send samples to accompany your application, they cannot be returned.

AGWA Design Store will be in contact within one month of receipt of your application. Please be patient, as we carefully consider all applications, which can take some time.
