Wendy Hubert is a respected Yindjibarndi Elder, cultural custodian, artist and linguist. Born at Red Hill Station on Guruma Country, Wendy lived at Red Hill Station, Minderoo Station and Onslow before settling in Roebourne. Wendy met her husband in Roebourne through her work in community health and together they had three sons. Wendy began painting with Juluwarlu Art Group in 2019, and has become a dedicated artist known for her landscape paintings recounting scenes from her childhood and featuring important places on Yindjibarndi and Guruma Country.
