Ann-Maree Gentile is the creative force behind AmUsing Clay, based in Foster, South Gippsland. Her work blends playful sculptures with a pop aesthetic, often incorporating recycled materials. She returned to her artistic roots in 2018, embracing drawing and collage alongside her ceramic practice.
Inspired by the concept of "ticky tacky," these hand built ceramic houses celebrate individuality with bold colors and playful charm. Each piece subverts sameness, turning mass-produced monotony into joyful, one-of-a-kind art. These miniature homes are a whimsical nod to creative rebellion.
