Emily Sugihara, her mother Joan, and Ellen Vanderlaan founded BAGGU after failing to find a reusable bag that was practical, affordable, durable, and stylish—so they made their own.
This catalogue documents BAGGU’s products from 2007 to 2022, featuring over 600 full-colour images and to-scale textile prints. Each copy is bound in one of five archival fabrics. BAGGU’s design philosophy remains unchanged: functionality, value, durability, and joy.
The book also includes a conversation between founders Emily Sugihara and Ellen Vanderlaan on BAGGU’s origins and growth, guided and edited by Emily Segal, co-founder of Nemesis and K-Hole.
